For the price we paid, we definitely got great value for our money. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities.
The breakfast menu could have had a better selection, especially for those who prefer Breakfast Tea instead of the infusion teas that were offered.

An enjoyable stay for a 1 night visit. Particularly good location in a beautiful area, near shops and restaurant, the center of the village, and the surrounding area. Again, 10 minutes walk from Mata da Margaraca...

Great location here! the breakfast is awesome, especially the delicious homemade cakes 🍰. You'll find shops, restaurants, an outdoor market, and even a yummy grilled chicken lunch spot all close by in the center of the village.

If you're looking for value and convenience, this hotel is a great choice. the location is fantastic, with easy access to the town centre and surrounding amenities. Rooms may be slightly outdated, but they're clean and comfortable. the staff is always friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is a standout feature, with a large variety of options including homemade cakes. Although the wifi in rooms could be improved, it's a small issue that doesn't detract from the overall experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options. The location was convenient, with easy access to attractions and transportation.
The hotel appeared outdated and in need of renovation. The rooms were small and the elevator was slow.

The perfect place for relaxation and rest. Excellent spacious rooms with all the necessary amenities: comfortable beds, air conditioning, plenty of storage space, and a view of the mountains from the window. The bathroom is nice with a hairdryer. The breakfasts are delicious with fresh fruits and tasty pastries. An excellent choice for a vacation. The shower in our bathroom could not be mounted on the wall , made the washing process a bit awkward. The breakfast room was not so easy to find on the 1st floor, down a dark corridor with no signs pointing to where it is but we found it eventually. The guy on reception was great, very cute, and hugely helpful. We were impressed with his fantastic English, a real bonus for us. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

This hotel was right in the centre, close to the town centre and conveniently located for transportation. It was also very clean, with nice hotel facilities and easy parking. What I enjoyed most, however, was the delicious breakfast and the friendly staff who were always willing to help.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Had a great Xmas holiday here. The breakfast was delicious with a range of options to choose from. The location was perfect, with many shops and restaurants nearby. We loved sitting by the fireplace in the lounge area, it created a cozy ambiance.
The WiFi connection was poor and often non-existent in some parts of the hotel. the soundproofing was not great, we could hear noises from other rooms.

I had a good stay at this charming hotel in the heart of Arganil. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of homemade cakes that were delicious. The bar with its cozy fireplace created a wonderful ambiance, perfect for winding down after a long day. The hotel has a retro vibe, reminiscent of the 80s, and even holds fond memories of WRC Portugal rally events. The friendly and helpful staff made me feel right at home throughout my stay. The location is also fantastic, allowing easy exploration of the fine surrounding areas. I highly recommend this hotel for a marvellous experience.

stayed here before and once again De Arganil exceeded expectations on our family holiday. The staff went above and beyond, from accommodating our early arrival to providing a comfortable armchair in my room without even asking. Impeccably clean, friendly, and great value for money.
